Founded in 1983 by footwear entrepreneurs Gonzalo Juarez and Gregorio Tomas in Elche, Alicante, Nordikas set out to create premium slippers for all genders and ages. Their slogan, "Footwear used inside homes," quickly became synonymous with quality and comfort.

Through extensive research and development, Nordikas introduced three key technologies that revolutionized their products:

Starting with a small selection of styles, Nordikas expanded its offerings to cater to the fashion market. By 2001, they relocated to a state-of-the-art facility in the Elche Industrial Park, a hub for Spanish footwear manufacturers, significantly enhancing their production capabilities.
